Dawn Breslin (Interview featured on A Man's World, November 8, 2005)

Dawn Breslin, 35, was one of the highest paid workers in the Scottish advertising industry, when a workshop changed her life. Dawn says that that weekend was a revelation. "Nobody had ever told me that confidence is a skill anyone can learn, rather than a golden gift you are born with!"

Dawn is now a leading international personal development coach and creator of the BBC LifeCafé Lifecoach, an interactive self-coaching tool that the BBC has targeted to its millions of viewers. Breslin is also the best-selling author of Zest for Life, a book based on her Zest For Life Program at the Dawn Breslin training academy in the United Kingdom.

Listen in to learn:

  • How severely your life is impeded by your negative "inner critic"
  • How affirmations are among the most powerful tools to re-program any negative outlook or perception you have about your own life
  • How every single solitary negative emotional feeling that you have, that you block or stuff down, is holding you back and preventing you from experiencing an authentically happy and joyful life
  • How perfectionism is prima facie evidence of a person's lowest self-esteem
  • How any attempt to be "perfect" is certain to lead you away from your authentic, and therefore joyful, life's experience
