Dr. Paul Coleman (Interview featured on A Man's World, December 13, 2005)

Many women misunderstand men's attitude about sex and intimacy, says Dr. Paul Coleman, a psychologist and expert on such matters. In fact, many women believe that when a man shows sexual affection, he is really after only one thing and that a man who keeps pushing for sex, despite hints by his partner that she's not interested, is being selfish.

Dr. Coleman will say that while some men do fall into the sex crazed, egocentric, stuck–in-adolescence tomcat category, most men do not. Rather, so much of the time, if a man is pushing for sex he is most likely looking for closeness!

In addition to discussing the differing ways that men and women view intimacy, Dr. Coleman talks about:

  • What exactly is intimacy?
  • Do men and women have different expectations when it comes to intimacy?
  • Some key reasons men have problems with intimacy
  • Some very valuable tips for those who aren't good at self-disclosure; here are some truly great ways to boost intimacy
  • What can a guy do when his partner and he have the same old repetitive argument?
